Places such as Ericeira, known for is waves, the only surf reserve in Europe, Peniche, the wave capital, where world surfing titles are disputed with the Meo Ripcurl Pro Stage of the World Surf Tour Ligue WSL, with names like Gabriel Medina, Felipe Toledo, JJ Florence and many others, Nazaré with its Giant waves where World records are broken from the biggest wave surfed to other places with a huge surf culture like Figueira da Foz or Porto.

In addition to the waves, our coast has paradisiacal places of white sand in the Algarve region, caves, sand dunes, beaches with rocky cliffs. A guarantee is varied food from north to south, based on meat and fish, prepared in many different ways, not forgetting the seafood on the coast.

On the western coast of the Algarve and in the heart of the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park, is the municipality of Aljezur. Of undeniable beauty, it preserves unforgettable landscapes between the mountains and the sea, in harmony with its valuable natural and cultural heritage.

Aljezur has a coastline of about 40 km, to the north is Odeceixe beach and to the south is Amado beach, formed by numerous bays, cut by rocky cliffs sought after throughout the year, they mark in a unique way those who visit them, whether by the sun and sea, for the practice of sports or even for a simple walk by the sea.

Arrifana beach is characterized by a small sandy bay surrounded by a high cliff, a unique feature on our coast, being a beach protected from the big waves and the prevailing north wind of the Vicentina coast, which provides excellent conditions for learning to surf being a very safe beach in relation to rip current and dangers.

Arrifana is a picturesque place, a small community where you can find a small number of houses and restaurants and a fishing harbor, where fresh fish arrives every day for our tables.
